The Walla Walla Symphony began its 107th season as the oldest continuously operating symphony west of the Mississippi. For 26 years, the orchestra has been under the artistic leadership of Music Director and Conductor Yaacov Bergman and has performed in Cordiner Hall On the Whitman College campus since 1967. From October through June, the Walla Walla Symphony plays and sponsors concerts in a schedule that includes a mix of classical concerts, special concerts and Guest Artist Soirees.
