Housed primarily in the 1909 train depot in downtown Pendleton, Heritage Station Museum’s mission is to “Tell the Story” of Umatilla County through exhibits and programming. The museum boasts two large interior galleries and a number of outdoor exhibits, including a caboose and a barn, as well as the Byrd Schoolhouse and the Fix Cabin, both built in the late 1800s. There is also space available for rental—both indoor and outdoor options. The museum is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-4pm.
